The eighth annual Southern California Regional Sacred Harp Singing met on Saturday before the third Sunday in May at Angels Gate Cultural Center in San Pedro, California.

The class was called to order at 11:00 a.m. by Rick Russell leading song on page 34b. Steve Lazicki, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Pasadena, California, led the opening prayer and then led song on page 46.

A business meeting was called for the purpose of electing officers with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Rick Russell; Vice Chairman—Laura Boyd Russell; Secretary—Jerry Schreiber; Arranging Committee—Carla Smith and Pat Keating; Treasurer—Duncan MacLeod; Memorial Committee—Laura Boyd Russell; Chaplain—Steve Lazicki.

Vincent Martin, and Sam Zuckerman—California. Carla Smith led 330b for the sick and shut-in: Rena Cifra, Karen Huss, who will undergo surgery on Monday. The memorial was closed.
