Aldridge Memorial

The annual Aldridge Memorial Sacred Harp Singing at Pleasant Hill (Johnson School House) was held on the second Sunday in June, and was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Chairperson Elene Stovall leading song on page 36b. Harrison Creel led the morning prayer.

Elene Stovall appointed Glenn Keeton as Vice Chairman, Lena Keeton as Secretary, and Travis Keeton as the Arranging Committee.

Elene Stovall led song on page 47t for Marie Aldridge who is ill and unable to be in attendance, and also for her three surviving aunts, and song on page 217.

Leaders: Odie Horton 58, 276 (for Pernie Pelfrey); Joan Aldridge 189. Joan Aldridge expressed her thanks to everyone for coming to help and make this a good singing.
