The Sharon Jordan Leach Memorial Singing was held at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday before the third Sunday in April. Hershell King called the class to order leading song on page 176 (t? b?). Elder Matt Jordan offered the morning prayer.

The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Elder J.L. Hopper; Arranging Committee—Jack Jordan; Secretary—Irene Jordan.

LUNCH

J.L. Hopper called the afternoon session to order with song on page 34t. Leaders: Carmon Brothers 341, 544b; Hershell King 410 (t? b?); David Light 110; Irene Jordan 329; Wilton Donaldson 225t; J.C. Rutledge 426t; Ramona Light 431; Dan Hopper 115; Robert Walker and J.C. Rutledge 294.

An elderly friend in the community, Tat Bailey, asked the class to sing three songs while he recorded them. He wanted these for his funeral. We granted his request and J.L. Hopper led songs on pages 35, 45t, and 111t.

Elder J.L. Hopper dismissed the class with prayer.
