The thirteenth annual session of the Louisiana State Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in the Sellers Music Building on the first Saturday in October. Wanda Gregg welcomed everyone to the singing, and Ed Steele led in prayer.

Officers of the convention were elected: Chairman—Ed Steele; Secretary—Wanda Gregg.
