The eighth annual University of Chicago/Hyde Park Singing was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Cathryn Bearov leading 114. Cathryn Bearov made welcoming remarks and stated that the Missouri Harmony and The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition, would be used. Sam Sommers offered the opening prayer.
