The Roy Avery Memorial Singing was held at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Daviston, Alabama, on the second Sunday in February. The class was called to order by Jack Nelson leading 480.

The following officers were appointed to serve: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Committee—Nellie Estes and Charlotte Bishop. Jack Nelson offered prayer, and led 489.

Leaders: Marion Patrick 358; Myrline Redmon 569b, 452; Wendy Futral 491, 100; Robert Chambless 77t (in memory of Amanda Denson), 145b; Floy Wilder 187, 389; William Futral 341, 340; Jenny Acton 222 (for Eugene Forbes), 229 (CB); Edna Ruth Phillips 146 (for Aunt Lora Kelley, who is 92 years old today), 318; Judy Chambless 426t, 393.

A brief preaching service was conducted by Elder Steve Stathelson, pastor of the church.
