The annual memorial singing for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rogers was held at Ephesus Elementary School on Sunday, March 2, 2008. The singing commenced at 9:30 a.m. with Denney Rogers leading 101t. Bobby Watkins offered the invocation. Stanley Edwards led 60 and Karen Rollins led 32t.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Denney Rogers; Vice Chairman—Stanley Edwards; Secretary—Karen Rollins; Arranging Committee—Mary Florence Smith; Memorial Committee—Sherry Lovvorn and Henry Johnson. Mayor Denney Rogers welcomed the singers to the city.
