The annual homecoming Sacred Harp singing held at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church on the first Sunday in May was called to order by Edna Ruth Phillips leading 58. The opening prayer was offered by Brother Roy Nelson.

The class elected the following officers: Chairman—Larry Acton; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Committee—Edna Ruth Phillips and Myrline Redmon.

RECESS

Larry Acton and Jacob Acton brought the class back to order leading 282 and 100. Leaders: Wendy Futral 98, 491; Floy Wilder 120, 432; Pam Anderson 405, 164; Edna Ruth Phillips 400, 143 (for Mavis Dale, her sister); Myrline Redmon 452, 358.

LUNCH

Larry Acton led 421 to start the afternoon session. Leaders: Jack Nelson 438; William Futral and Wendy Futral 39b, 369; Virginia Futral 145b; Nell Estes 112; Jenny Acton 274t; Brandon Acton 53; Jacob Acton 200; Floy Wilder 186; Edna Ruth Phillips 148.

Larry Acton and Jacob Acton led 282 for the deceased and the sick and shut-ins. The deceased remembered were M.B. Forbes, Opal Futral, Hazel Nelson, and Verlie McDaniel—Alabama. The sick and shut-ins honored were Eugene Forbes, Shirley Berrey, Gibb Amason, Vernelle Amason, and Lora Kelley.

Larry Acton led 46 as the closing song. William Futral dismissed the class with prayer.
