The 136th session of the Hillabee Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church in Daviston, Alabama. The class sang 32t, 64, 68b, 72t, 63, 73t, 99, 313t, 26, 27, 560, 448b, 236, 401, 400, 340, and 341.

RECESS

Ed Thacker offered a prayer. A business session was held to elect the following officers for the convention: Chairman—Charlotte Bishop; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Committee—Nell Estes.

LUNCH

Charlotte Bishop and Jacob Acton brought the afternoon session to order leading 200.

Jenny Acton conducted the memorial lesson and led 146 in memory of Lora Kelley, and 288 in memory of M.B. Forbes and Milton Oliver.

Jenny Acton led 222 for the following sick and shut ins: Eugene Forbes, Bud Oliver, Elder L. Culver, and Dale Harris. Jack Nelson closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
