The memorial lesson was humbly presented by Helen Bryson who concluded her inspiring remarks by leading 491b for the deceased and the sick and shut-ins. The deceased memorialized were Nora Roberts, Jimmie Denney, Harold Cook, Pat Cook, Barbara Cook Smith, Lee Rogers, Clarence Cook, and Richard Johnson—Georgia; Elder Gerald Hand—New Mexico; Frank Green—North Carolina; John Etheridge—Florida; Frank Hataway and Paul King—Alabama; Dick Steil, Ophelia Matthews, Dutch Owen, Adele Reed, and Pama Jo Cook McMillen—Texas. The sick and shut-ins remembered were Robert Cook, Rodney Willard, Bob DePoy, Wanda Talley, Myra Palmer, and Benny Walls.
