The annual Sacred Harp singing held at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church was called to order by Eugene Forbes leading 75. Elder J. D. Morris offered the morning prayer.

Eugene Forbes led 101t, and the class elected the following officers: Chairman—Eugene Forbes; Vice Chairman—Jack Nelson; Secretary—Jenny Acton; Arranging Officer—Edna Ruth Phillips.
