The 18th annual Joe Beasley Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Richard Schmeidler leading 34b. Marlin Beasley offered the morning prayer. Richard Schmeidler led 475.

A business meeting was held re-electing the current officers as follows: Chairman—John Beasley; Vice Chairman—Richard Schmeidler; Secretary—Sandie Scott.
