The 15th annual session of the Alabama Collegiate Sacred Harp Singing was held in the Student Center of Canterbury Episcopal Chapel on the campus of the University of Alabama on Saturday before the third Sunday in February. Tim Cook welcomed the class, and led 49t. The morning prayer was offered by Richard Mauldin. Tim Cook led 66.

A business session was held and the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Nikos Pappas; Vice Chairman—Stephen Smith; Secretary—Susan Cherones.

Wendell Rinehart led 445 for the following sick and shut-ins: Wayne Baines, Juanita Beasley, Don Buswell, Anita Buswell, Jimmie Gilmore, Henry Guthery, Ola Meadows, Bud Oliver, Sammie Oliver, S.T. Reed, Lessie Reed, Eloise Wootten, Betty Wright, and Willard Wright. He closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
