The 33rd annual Oxford Sacred Harp Singing was held in the Powerhouse Community Arts Center on the second Sunday in March. The class was called to order by Warren Steel leading 138b. Earl Ballinger offered the morning prayer.

Mark Davis led 33b, and the class entered into a business session. The following officers were elected to serve: Chairman—Warren Steel; Vice Chairman—Mark Davis; Secretary—Brenda Chafin; Arranging Officer—Lisa Geist.

Ken Tate read the following names of those deceased in the past year: Myrtle Ann Beasley, Harrison Creel, Earnie Jett, Pernie Pelfrey, Charles Creel, Bill Tanner, Virginia Carter, Nellie Davis, Aubrey Enochs, and Julietta Haynes. He then led 347 in memory of the deceased.

John Van Horn led 65 in honor of the following sick and homebound: Josie Hyde, W.M. Allen, Stella Pratt and Henry Guthery. He offered prayer to close the memorial lesson.
