The 18th annual Maidencreek Singing was held on Saturday before Labor Day at Maidencreek Friends Meeting House. The class was called to order by Bethany Towne leading 138b. Tollie Lee offered the opening prayer.

A brief business meeting was held in which the following officers for this year’s singing were confirmed: Chairman—Ina Shea; Vice Chairman—Sonia Chin; Treasurer—Jesse Krikorian; Secretaries—Lynne Hoyt and Steve Hoyt; Chaplain—Tollie Lee.

Ted Stokes led 185 in memory of the following deceased: Evelyn Steinruck—Pennsylvania; Linda Mason Hood—New York; Jeff Sheppard—Alabama; Kelly Day—Indiana. The memorial lesson was closed with prayer offered by Tollie Lee.

It was further resolved to meet again next year in the same location.
