Hugh McGraw told the story of how he met Ms. Dollie. He spoke of the special bond between Richard DeLong and his grandmother and how she instilled her love for Sacred Harp music in Richard starting at an early age. “It was a pleasure and a privilege to know and have loved her. Ms. Dollie is someone that I’ll remember for a long, long time”. Hugh McGraw led song on page 58 in her memory.

Jeannette DePoy led song on page 512 in memory of Karen House. Jeannette stated that the words to the song on page 27 came to mind when remembering Karen. Even though Karen knew that her time on earth might be brief, she lived to the fullest time that she was here. Jeannette urged that if we need to build a bridge, tell someone you love them, or mend fences that we do so today and not wait until tomorrow.
