The annual Sacred Harp singing held at Old Enon Church on the first Sunday in April was called to order by John Hyde leading song on page 129. Harrison Creel offered the morning prayer.

The class organized for the day with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—John Hyde; Vice Chairman—Wilton Donaldson; Secretary—Josie Hyde; Arranging Committee—Travis Keeton.
