The thirty-first session of the annual Sacred Harp singing held at Shady Grove (Keeton Cemetery) was called to order by Travis Keeton leading songs on pages 56t and 129. Harrison Creel led the morning prayer.

The class organized for the day by voting to retain the following officers: Chairman—Travis Keeton; Vice Chairman—Glenn Keeton; Secretary—Josie Hyde; Arranging Committee—Willodean Barton.
