The Jack Smith Memorial Singing was held on Memorial Day at Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. John Plunkett called the class to order leading song on page 49t. Andy Anderson offered the opening prayer.

The class resumed singing with John Plunkett leading song on page 277. LUNCH

The afternoon session consisted of singing from a gospel hymnbook that had been compiled by Jack Smith.

The class was in general agreement to hold this singing again next year on Memorial Day. Location and format are to be decided, though most expressed an interest in keeping it the same, and it is likely to be held at Oakhurst Baptist Church again.
