The twelfth annual Northern California Regional Sacred Harp Singing was held in Santa Cruz at the Santa Cruz Senior Opportunities Building on the third Sunday in August. Janet Herman called the class to order at 9:30 a.m. with 30t. Chaplain John Brunk offered the opening prayer.

Officers for the singing were: Chair—Shelley Phillips; Arranging—Janet Herman; Treasurer—Barry Phillips; Secretary—Tammy Heinsohn.

Shelley Phillips led 420 in memory of the deceased: Brenda Davidson, Leonie Boyd Erickson, Lorraine Forry, Ruth Carolyn Fuhr, Robin London, Mark Rodriguez, Robin Rodriguez, Livia Rodriguez, and Margy Thomas—California; Bonnie Peterson—North Carolina; Noel Gray—Washington. The memorial was closed.
