The annual McWhorter Memorial Sacred Harp singing was held at Mars Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Cleburne County, Alabama on Saturday before the third Sunday in October. Mary L. Smith brought the class to order leading 59 and 37b. Teenie Moody led 101t and 171.

The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairlady/Arranging Committee—Mary L. Smith; Vice Chairlady/Secretary—Teenie Moody; Assistant Secretary—Donna Bell.

Leaders: Josephine Denney and Felton Denney 489, 503; Mary L.
