The annual Sanders Memorial singing was held on the third Sunday in February at Sardis Church on the Warrior River in Walker County, Alabama. John Merritt called the class to order leading 36b and 400. Richard Mauldin offered the opening prayer. John Merritt led 77t.

The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Velton Chafin; Vice Chairman—Harrison Creel; Secretary—Elizabeth Keeton; Arranging Committee—Margaret Keeton.
