The 46th annual Harpeth Valley-Priestley Miller Memorial Sacred Harp singing was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Tim Reynolds leading 34b. Randy Box offered the morning prayer. Tim Reynolds led 84.

The following officers were retained: Chairman—David Carlton; Vice-Chairman—Darrell Holley; Secretary—Marilyn Burchett; Arranging Committee—Tim Reynolds.

RECESS

Tim Reynolds brought the class back together leading 200 and “Gladly Would My Eyes My Saviour See” (a recently discovered tune by A.M. Cagle, 1966). Leaders: Melanie Hardy 155, 143; Caleb Dillehay 39b, 232; Fay Thompson 128, 53; Gail Doss 540, 270.

RECESS

Tim Reynolds brought the class back together leading 148. Leaders: Marilyn Burchett 312b, 335; Gary Smith 50b, 503; Darlyne Kent 294, 268.

LUNCH

Bob Simmons brought the class back together for the afternoon session leading 171 and 532.
