The annual memorial singing for Jack Kerr and Henry Kerr was held on the second Sunday in January at Camp Ground Methodist Church, near Fruithurst, Alabama. Henry Johnson called the class to order leading 205. Ed Thacker offered the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Henry Johnson; Vice Chairman—Tony Hammock; Secretary—Donna Bell; Arranging Committee—Hester Edwards.

Henry Johnson introduced Lois Bowman (Jack Kerr’s daughter) and the Kerr family members present. Mrs. Bowman shared family history and fond memories of singing. The group led 282 for the deceased. Rev. Larigan closed the memorial with prayer, and included blessing the noon meal.
