The fourth annual Savannah Singing was held on Saturday, October 11th at Faith Primitive Baptist Church. It was a collaborative event held in conjunction with the Savannah Folk Music Festival. Gene Pinion began the day with a brief introductory lesson which outlined the history of shape note music and its rudiments. The following songs were sung: 49t, 479, and 40.

RECESS

Gene Pinion called the class to order leading 452. John Gentry offered the morning prayer.
