The Houston Sacred Harp Singing Convention met at the Heights Church of Christ in Houston, Texas, on the Saturday before the first Sunday in December. The class was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Evelyn Lamb leading 59. The morning prayer was offered by Dr. Lynn Mitchell.
