The 25th Chicago Anniversary Singing was held at the Irish American Heritage Center, Chicago, Illinois, on the second Sunday in January. Carol Munro Mosley and Michael Mosley called the class to order at 10:00 a.m. leading 38t. Anne Heider offered the morning prayer.

Daniel Braithwaite spoke on behalf of the deceased and led us in a moment of silence to recall those who had touched our lives. Marcia Johnson spoke about the beginning of Sacred Harp singing in Chicago and urged us all to travel to distant singings. Marcia Johnson, Ted Johnson, Herb Schroeder, Judy Hauff, Ted Mercer, and Wendy Wahn led 155 as The Founders’ Lesson.
