The 5th annual Thomas and Opal Futral Memorial Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in April at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church in Goodwater, Alabama. Jack Nelson called the class together leading 480 and then offering the opening prayer.

The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Vice Chairman—William Futral; Secretary—Virginia Futral.

LUNCH

Jack Nelson called the afternoon session together leading 318.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Jack Nelson. The following deceased were remembered: Art Denson, Lora Kelley, Brenda Dean, Willard Fredericks, John Etheridge, and Hazel Nelson. The following sick and shut-ins were honored: John Plunkett, Audress Gurley, Harrison Creel, and Maudie Fredericks. Jack Nelson led 30b.
