The annual Sacred Harp singing held at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church met on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in April. Bobby Cagle called the class to order leading 491. The morning prayer was offered by Elder Charles Cagle.

The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—John Hollingsworth; Vice Chairman—Andy Morse; Secretary/Treasurer—Helen Bryson.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Judy Mincey. She spoke and led 347 in memory of the following deceased: Nora Roberts, Lee Rogers, Elizabeth Tolbert, and Myrtle Smith—Georgia.

Sandra Wilkinson led 50b for the following sick and shut-ins: John Plunkett, Violet Thomason, Frank Block, Richard DeLong, Tony Sills, and Dorothy Garrison. John Hollingsworth offered prayer to close the memorial service.
