The 6th annual Sacred Harp singing convened at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church, Ringgold, Louisiana, on Saturday before the first Sunday in September. The morning session was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Robert Vaughn leading 264b (CB) and 388 (CB). The morning prayer was offered by Elder Joe Asbel.

The following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Robert Vaughn; Secretary—Mallory Oliver.

The morning session song selections were from the B.F. White Sacred Harp, Cooper Revision.
