Aldo Ceresa welcomed singers to the 4th annual singing from D.H. Mansfield’s The American Vocalist. Songs appearing in both The American Vocalist and The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition, were sung from The Sacred Harp.

Aldo Ceresa opened the graveside singing by leading 47 (AV). He then presented a brief introduction to The American Vocalist, including readings from Mansfield’s own writings. Leaders: Aldo Ceresa 83t (AV), 31b (AV), 16 (AV), 101t (AV); Joanne Fuller 45b (AV); Aldo Ceresa 102b (AV).

RECESS

During recess, the class relocated to the Olde Townhouse in Union, Maine, where they were joined by additional singers. Aldo Ceresa brought the class back to order by leading 63 (AV). The opening prayer was offered by Corrone Bryant. Aldo Ceresa provided additional remarks regarding The American Vocalist.
