The 18th annual Marilou and Don Jolly Memorial Singing was held at the Trinity Episcopal Church, Escondido, California. The all-day singing was renamed the Lunsford-Jolly Memorial this year to include beloved singer, Carroll Lunsford, and continue to honor Marilou and Don Jolly. The class was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Mairye Bates leading 84. Midge Harder offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was called, and the following officers and committees were elected or appointed: Chairman—Jerry Schreiber; Vice Chairperson—Elaine Denny; Secretaries—Mary Linn Freedman and Mimi Wright; Arranging Committee—Carla Smith and Judy Getrich; Resolutions Committee—Clarissa Fetrow and Susan Willis-Powers.
