The 19th annual session of the Rotunda Singing was held in the foyer of the Department of Archives and History, Montgomery, Alabama. Four songbooks were used: The B.F. White Sacred Harp, Cooper Edition, The Christian Harmony, The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition, and The Colored Sacred Harp.

The class sang 453t (CB), and was called to order by Bill Hogan leading 36b, followed by a warm welcome. Joey Brackner of the Alabama State Arts Council and Kevin Nutt of the Department of Archives and History offered words of welcome. Richard Mauldin offered the opening prayer.

The first session of singing was from the B.F. White Sacred Harp, Cooper Edition. Leaders: Evie Eddins 68t (CB); Nancy Hogan 464 (CB); Tim Cook 563 (CB); Adrian Nall 393 (CB); Ann Riley Gray 571 (CB); Edith Eddins 82 (CB); Jim Carnes 54t (CB); Alice Sundberg 156 (CB); Steve Grauberger 572 (CB); Gary Padgett 532 (CB).

The second session of singing was from the Christian Harmony. RECESS

The third session of singing was from The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition. The class was called to order by Bill Hogan leading 411. The fourth session of singing was from the Colored Sacred Harp. Leaders: Bill Hogan 4 (CSH); Johnathan Kelso 46 (CSH); Ken Sundberg 12 (CSH); Mary Amelia Taylor 95 (CSH); Richard Mauldin 63 (CSH); Bill Hogan 87 (CSH). Nancy Hogan and Bill Hogan led “Lord, Give Me Just a Little More Time”. The class sang 369, and Richard Mauldin offered the blessing for the noon meal.

Following announcements, Evie Eddins, Nancy Hogan, Joey Brackner, Richard Mauldin, and Bill Hogan led 347 as the closing song. Richard Mauldin offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
