The annual Sacred Harp singing at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church was held on the first Sunday in January. Glenn Keeton called the class to order by leading 56t. The morning prayer was offered by Tom Booth. Glenn Keeton led 46.

The class was organized by electing the following officers to serve: Chairman—Don Keeton; Vice Chairman—Nicholas Thompson; Secretary—Roma Rice; Arranging Committee—Margaret Keeton.
