The 174th session of the Elmore Center Sacred Harp Singing was held at Elmore Center United Methodist Church near Gordo, Alabama, on Saturday before the first Sunday in March. Jack Pate called the class to order by leading 503. Pastor Joey Karr offered the morning prayer. Jack Pate welcomed everyone.

The class organized by electing or appointing the following officers: Chairman—Jack Pate; Vice Chairman—Glenn Keeton; Secretary—Margaret Keeton; Arranging—Wayne Baines.
