The 2nd annual John and Loraine Bayer Memorial Singing was held at the Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting House, New Lebanon, Ohio, on the fifth Sunday in July. The class was called to order by Ray Rechenberg leading 77b. The morning prayer was offered by Greg Creech. Songs were sung from The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition, as well as a book of John Bayer’s compositions, The Dayton Harmonist, noted as DH.
