The annual Sacred Harp singing in memory of Eugene Forbes was held on the first Sunday in May. Jacob Acton called the class together leading 33b and 59. The opening prayer was offered by Jack Nelson.

The class elected the following officers to serve: Chairman—Jacob Acton; Vice Chairman—Brandon Acton; Secretary—Jenny Acton. Leaders: Brandon Acton 300, 142; Jack Nelson 32t, 30b; Oscar McGuire 34b, 171; Robert Chambless 176b, 225t; Cecil Roberts 30t, 35; Bill Dupre 440, 53; Winfred Kerr 36b, 516; and Judy Chambless 222, 454 (in memory of Eugene Forbes and Lori Forbes Hinesley).

RECESS

Jacob Acton led 87. Leaders: Tina Lett and Sawyer 145b, 445; Brandon Acton 168; Jack Nelson 518. The memorial lesson was held at this time. Oscar McGuire led 146 for Donna Hall, and in memory of Phillip Denney—Georgia; Hubert Nall, Patricia Anderson, and Lori Forbes Hinesely—Alabama.
