Sacred Harp Sweden invited singers to the 5th annual Uppsala All-Day Singing at the Newman Institute in Uppsala, Sweden. The chair, Hanna Flyckt, called the singing to order by leading 47t. Margaret Hunt offered an opening invocation.

The Treasurer reported that expenses had been met and the Secretary informed the class that fifteen singers from five countries (Germany, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States) sang seventy-five songs. Hanna Flyckt opened the floor to guests from Germany, Norway, and the UK who extended invitations to attend their regular singings and the Hamburg group’s ten-year anniversary All-Day Singing (October 21, 2023). Werner Ullah informed the class that the UK Sacred Harp website now publishes a comprehensive calendar over local singings for all European groups at https: //sacredharp. uk/local-singings/region/europe/. After a few announcements of her own, Hanna extended heartfelt thanks to all visiting singers and the officers who served. She then led 62 as the closing song. Peter Gates offered a concluding prayer, allowing a grateful assembly to return to the world outside a little tired, but much lighter in heart and spirit.
