The annual Sacred Harp Singing at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church was held on the third Sunday in September. Jack Nelson brought the class together leading 45t, 480, and 318. Shane Brown gave the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the following officers elected: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Co-Chairman—Robby Anderson; Secretary—Wendy Anderson.

RECESS

Jack Nelson, Sydney Burleson, and Denise Burleson called the class together leading 186. Leaders: Karen Rollins 354t, 213b; Sarah George 77t, 100; Glenda Collins 63, 76b; Bert Collins 35, 542.

Jack Nelson and Karen Rollins conducted the memorial lesson. The sick and shut-ins were Ruby Ham, Wendel Wood, Ralph Redmond, Merline Redmon, Mona Nelson, and Waylan Blakley. The deceased remembered were Ann Simpson, Philip Denney, Katleen Halsey, Hubert Nall, Patricia Anderson, Nell Estes, Curtis Darling, Roy Nelson, and Chita Blakley. Karen Rollins led 285t. Elder Ken Milner offered prayer.
