The 6th session of the Helwig-Coghlan Memorial Sacred Harp singing met at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Berkeley, California, on Saturday before the second Sunday in November. The class was called to order by Pat Coghlan leading 492. Maggie Zhou offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairperson—Pat Coghlan; Vice Chairperson—Lindy Groening; Secretary—Linda Selph; Treasurer—Mark Godfrey; Chaplain—Maggie Zhou; Arranging—Heather Purdy; Resolutions Committee—Dami Osoba and Sam Kleinman. The business meeting was closed.

The business meeting was reopened to hear committee reports. The Secretary reported thirty-nine singers from five states sang seventy-seven songs led by thirty-one leaders. The Treasurer reported expenses had been met and moved to submit the collections to Bay Area Sacred Harp which was approved by the class. The Resolutions Committee offered thanks to all who made the singing possible and submitted a resolution, which was adopted, to meet again next year. The meeting was closed. Announcements were made.

Lindy Groening and Linda Selph led 347 as the closing song, and those who wished took the parting hand. Maggie Zhou offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
